Samira Negrouche

Samira Negrouche was born in 1980 in Algiers where she still lives. She is a poet and translator, and doctor. Her books include: A l’ombre de Grenade (2003), Le Jazz des oliviers (2010) and Six arbres de fortune autour de ma baignoire (2017). Poems of hers, in Marilyn Hacker’s translation, have appeared in journals including Banipal, Pleiades, Words Without Borders, Modern Poetry in Translation and PN Review.

Samira Negrouche's work featured in PN Review comprises three contributions of poetry, over a period of four years.
