John Mallett

Though John Mallett had already published poems in the mid-1950s, he might be described as a late developer, having survived his first eighty years without publishing a collection. As the son of a diplomat and an historian of ceramics, the musical qualities of foreign languages have acompanied his life.

John Mallett's work featured in PN Review comprises two contributions of poetry, over a period of seven years.
