Michael AlexanderMichael Alexander’s verse translations of Old English poetry are published by Penguin Classics and Anvil. More recently he has published A History of English Literature, Medievalism: The Middle Ages in Modern England, and Reading Shakespeare. Michael Alexander's work featured in PN Review comprises three reports, four contributions of poetry, five articles, and two reviews, over a period of 36 years.
