William Woottenwilliam wootten’s essays, poems and book reviews have appeared in many magazines and journals. His critical study The Alvarez Generation: Thom Gunn, Geoffrey Hill, Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath and Peter Porter is due to be published by Liverpool University Press in 2015. He lectures in English at Bristol University.
