Alexey Shelvakh

Alexey Shelvakh, born 1948, published many stories in the pioneer publications of Leningrad. Later he worked as a lathe operator, publishing poetry and prose in major samizdat magazines. Since the 1990s, he has been an editor and translator (mainly of fantasy) in the St. Petersburg publishing houses Azbuka and Amphora.
