John Slater

John Slater is a Cistercian monk in upstate New York. His poems have appeared in various journals in the U.S. and Canada. A first collection of his work is forthcoming from The Porcupine's Quill (Canada). Two of the Hafiz translations appear in the Spring 2009 issue of CrossCurrents; others are forthcoming in Dalhousie Review and Words Without Borders. A booklength collection is forthcoming from Fons Vitae.
