Meirion Jordan was born near Swansea, Wales, and his first collection of poetry, Moonrise, was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection in 2009. He is currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, and his second full collection of poems is scheduled for publication in spring 2012.
