Letter from Leah Fritz Remembering Adam Johnson

Sir:

I want to thank Neil Powell for taking the time to make a correction anent one of Adam Johnson's poems mentioned in my piece in PN Review 211. As editor of the definitive collection, Neil's is the final word on Adam's work and, indeed, their closer friendship preceded mine and continued throughout the rest of Adam's short life. I am grateful, too, to Michael Schmidt for giving me the opportunity to reflect on Adam as I knew him, however briefly, in that final year.

LEAH FRITZ
