Disconnect

Pale wireless mermaid
washed up on the shore
by bright pixeltide -

is that you darling, up late,
cold, screenblind,
perfecting your proposal?

Looking up cheap flights,
clicking anywhere
and putting it on plastic?

Petal, larva, glowworm -
come, it's time to sleep.
Time to switch off, time

to close down windows.
Come, let's zip the
file and sync it to the cloud.
