The Skirt Mairi MacInnes
The flax grew in the field
  So the skirt was tough.
From the first it had the weave
  And hand of field-grown stuff.

But I bit into a peach
  And juice ran over my chin.
I promptly washed the skirt
  But the mark stayed in.
