Indifferent to life,
I withdrew into a shell
Of metal, my shirt
A miracle of crocheted iron,
My heart sounded

Into a walking treasure,
Wonderfully made,
A whole troop, I stood
Like the city of gold,
Or the wind-ranged,
Ocean-hammered cliffs
