Ten Months Later Brian Cox

     second operations
          sometimes fail.
When friends wish me luck,
    I'm miffed;
             I trust
success depends on art,
     not chance.
          I favour
Michael's wit -
     hard times enriched
           by farce:
"this poem could be
     your first
           in braille."
