Upstairs
a bus to Deal
I’ll beat the hell out of
you heard the Kentish lad. Scratched panes
fog up

PLANNING FOR A NO-DEAL

Angler
on a bulked pier.
He wears waterproof shorts.
Out with the bloody immigrants,
the lot

ELVIN THE BUILDER

From scratch
he’s built his boat  
moored at the River Stour
there he sleeps alone when he’s drunk
too much
