   The tang and touch on the tongue,
The pause, the creep, the quick advance and then
   The verbs which we move among,
The nouns that alter their meanings again and again,
   The poem which turns to song

   The awkward adjective,
The thin-worn noun, the verb that seemed to grow stale.
