Elephant

Big-ball elephant
sits like a hill:
Glory Enormous!
slapping his fear-fans.
Snaps trees, stamps fields,
rips up men like rags,
hangs them on branches.
Scram if you see him!
Glory Enormous!

Boom! Boom!
Scram if you hear him:
spiky-palm-cruncher,
ashblack earthquake.
Judders forests,
Glory Enormous,
stopless trampler!
