'By cool Siloam's shady rill'

Arkansas's westernmost county
Is dry; we nip back over
The out-of-town stateline for
Liquor in Oklahoma.

In the next one, 'wet', a drive-in
Announces 'Kinky Ladies';

A shack says 'Modern Massage',
Not open yet for trading.

A titter: 'This is what
Free Churchmen mean by a felt
Religion? We are, are we not,
At the heart of the Bible Belt?'

We are. This is Siloam
Springs. Once off the highway,
We walk in the 1930s,
