The places we have been together
Lie in wait for me wherever I go.
They show their familiar faces to me from among
          brand-new furniture;
They call out her name to me from the weathered signposts
By the sides of roads.

They are hoping to beguile me. They say: 'Bring her back
          with you:
You were happy here: we are still unchanged:
