When it was my turn to do With Great Pleasure for BBC radio, I chose the story of the Shunamite woman-2 Kings 4. Out of interest I looked it up in the NEB and Moffat-what a mess they made of it! To me the key words are in answer to the question 'is it well with the child?'-'It is well' showing the total faith and confidence of the mother. A resounding statement. Someday if you have time you will see how poor is the attempt to tell the same story in the other translations.
