Bill ManhireBill Manhire will give the fourteenth annual Rylands Poetry Reading in Manchester on 24 November. His Selected Poems was published in 2014. ‘Known unto God’, printed here, was part of the Fierce Light co-commission by 14–18 NOW, Norfolk & Norwich Festival, and Writers’ Centre Norwich, commemorating the Battle of the Somme.
