Horatio Morpurgo

Horatio Morpurgo writes on the environment, history and European Affairs for many publications. He organised the campaign to commemorate Stefan Zweig’s residence in London. The Paradoxal Compass (Notting Hill Editions, 2017) argues for the continuing relevance of early modern history to today’s environmental movement. An earlier essay about Berdychiv, central Ukraine, ‘Tunnels Under Ukraine’, featured in Afterwardsness (Erewhon, 2022).
