Michael SchmidtMichael Schmidt is the General Editor of PN Review and helped to found the magazine in 1973. He is the editorial director of Carcanet Press Ltd, Professor of Poetry at the University of Glasgow, and the author of Lives of the Poets, Lives of the First Poets, three volumes of The Story of Poetry, several anthologies, and his Collected Poems was published in 2009.
