Simon Armitage's most recent collection is Tyrannosaurus Rex Versus the Corduroy Kid (Faber, 2006). He writes for radio, television and film, and is the author of fiction and four stage plays. His dramatisation of the Odyssey was broadcast on Radio 4. He is currently a senior lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University.
