Donald Rayfield
Born 1942, Donald Rayfield is emeritus professor of Russian and Georgian at London University, author of books and articles on Chekhov, Stalin’s hangmen, Georgian literature, chief editor of A Comprehensive Georgian-English Dictionary and a translator of prose and poetry.
